What is Kindermusik?

Kindermusik is a parent-and-me together, music education program for children ages 0-7.

Visit our About page for more information.

How long are the classes?

Every class is 40 minutes long.

Where are the classes held?

All classes are held at the 88 Keys Piano music studio: 183 Deerfield Road West, Bloomingdale, GA 31302.

Who is my teacher?

Your licensed Kindermusik educator is Marina Lindblom. Visit our Staff page to read more about her.

How do I enroll?

Visit the Classes + Playdates page and click on your selected class. From there you can enroll your child by filling out a simple payment form. Or, if you wish to attend a free trial class first, we can enroll you after you come to class.

When will my enrollment renew?

Your enrollment renews itself monthly. Your card will be stored in our secure system the first time you pay, and from then on you’ll be charged automatically on the 1st day of every month. If you have any kind of coupon or discount to apply, let us know before the next 1st, when your next payment will occur. All payments are nonrefundable after they are billed. You can stop this automatic process and restart it anytime at your convenience; just let us know before the 1st. We do not charge a fee for leaving and re-joining our classes.

What’s included in my monthly enrollment?

4 weeks of classes plus a free bonus class when there’s a 5th week; and your digital @Home materials, which include all the class music, lyrics, activities, videos, craft ideas, child-friendly recipes, and fascinating tips for parents!

What if I’m sick or can’t come to a class?

If you miss a class, feel free to come on another day. For example, if you’re enrolled in Monday, just come Tuesday! You can also make up your missed class on the next 5th week of the month. Makeup classes are offered whenever there’s a 5th week in a month, since you only pay for 4 classes in a month. We always celebrate this bonus week with a surprise class theme and donut holes! Even if you haven’t missed any classes, feel free to come along to our 5th week class.

What if the teacher is sick and cancels class?

Don’t worry, we’ll have a special planned makeup class another day.

Will there be class during bad weather?

If it’s just rain, yes! We can’t let a few raindrops stop a Kindermusik class! What’s better on a rainy day than a delightful indoor activity? If the weather is unusually hazardous and we do need to cancel, we’ll be sure to let you know first.

How many caregivers are allowed to bring a child to class?

As many as you wish! We always welcome multiple caregivers, so if Dad, Mom, Grandpa, Grandma, and the babysitter all want to come together, the more the merrier!

Can my older child under 13 come along and sit out in the waiting room during class?

Unfortunately, no. Ages 0-7 are welcome in class but non-enrolled children under 13 cannot sit out in the waiting room alone.

Is nursing and/or feeding allowed in class?

Nursing and infant bottles are allowed inside the classroom, but please save your snacks, drinks, and sippy cups for afterwards!

I’m enrolled, I told a friend about Kindermusik, and they enrolled. Do I get a referral reward?

Thanks so much! You get $10 off your next month or a free instrument for your child. And you get to have your friend in class with you each week!

I can’t come to the playdate I enrolled in. Do I still get to collect my instrument, 10 songs, and coupon?

You sure do. We’ll hold your goodies for whenever you can pick them up. The cost, however, is nonrefundable.

Can I schedule my own custom playdate with my friends?

Yes, you can! Just get together a group of 10-15 people, pick a day that works for you, and give us a call to make sure it works for us!

What if my child acts shy in class?

No worries. We love those quiet cuties. They’ll warm up!

What if my child is too noisy and energetic?

Let them have fun! That’s how they’re learning best! All we ask is that you get up and move with them so nobody gets hurt. Now if your child is screaming or crying during class, we’d appreciate if you’d kindly to take them out to the waiting room and come back in when everyone’s happy. :-)

What should I wear to class?

Just dress comfortably for movement. We have a no-shoe policy in the classroom, so you’ll probably want socks.

How do I subscribe to your email list?

Very easily —just click here.

How do I get the most out of Kindermusik class?

You get the most out of class by not chatting with your friends while the teacher’s talking, keeping your phone sounds on silent, and participating actively in whatever your child wants to do! Focus completely on having a great time with your child, not on what the other adults in class could possibly be thinking of you as you hop like a bunny, twirl like a top, or chug like a choo-choo train. :-) Remember, you quit being an important, respectable grownup when you walked into Kindermusik class. Have fun! This is your class, too!

Is Kindermusik appropriate and beneficial for special needs children?

Yes, we love and welcome children with any kind of special need. And the proven benefits of music to special needs children are amazing. Email us to request more information! [info@kindermusikwith88keys.com]
